Mountain Oak Earthworks - Market Street, Remarkable Park, Frankton

Stewart Civil is proud to announce the successful completion of Stage 1 earthworks at the Mountain Oak Apartments development in Remarkables Park, Queenstown. Working with Safari Group, our team has played a key role in setting the foundation for this exciting new multi-storey residential project.

 Stage 1 involved a significant scope of work, including the excavation and disposal of a large volume of material as cut to stockpile, the establishment of robust environmental controls to manage runoff and dust, and the construction of a load transfer platform designed to accommodate the large piling rig. We also constructed a large temporary carpark to facilitate ongoing site operations and completed the initial installation of essential site services.

 Looking ahead, the next stages of the project will see Stewart Civil working alongside CLL to support piling operations. We will also be undertaking approximately 5,000m³ of cut-to-fill earthworks, which will form the groundwork for the upcoming installation of the three waters infrastructure — stormwater, wastewater, and potable water services.

 This project represents another opportunity for Stewart Civil to contribute meaningfully to Queenstown’s rapidly growing built environment. We are proud to support Safari Group in delivering high-quality residential developments and to be helping shape a resilient and future-ready Queenstown.
